九二一15年，儀震天下特展了解臺地震史

紀念九二一地震15週年，國立自然科學博物館與中央氣象局16日起，聯手在竹山鎮車籠埔斷層保存園區特別舉辦「儀震天下特展」，透過地震儀器、史料文獻、儀器記錄、互動設施等古文物以及百年地震儀的展示，引導參訪者認識地震，了解臺灣地震史。

為期兩年的「儀震天下特展」包括「文物考證時代」、「科學觀測時代」、「科技預警時代」等三個單元，分別介紹「清治時期」、「日治時期」、「戰後時期」等三個時期臺灣地震記錄及地震儀觀測歷史演化，透過先民保留下來的珍貴記錄，看盡臺灣過去4百年來經歷的地震災害，科博館邀請社會大眾、學校團體到車籠埔斷層保存園區，來一趟臺灣歷史地震之旅。
