新竹陳姓女子不滿趙姓前男友欠5萬元不還，夥同吳姓、徐姓男子男子在前年5月12日深夜到趙家縱火。全案徐男通緝中，法官考量被害屋主願原諒，吳男無前科，犯後態度良好，判處2年徒刑，緩刑3年，緩刑期內要提供120小時義務勞務。陳女有前科，判處1年10個月徒刑。>判決書指出，吳與徐將汽油彈引燃後，隨即擲向趙家門口階梯，幸好及時熄滅，沒有延燒房屋。吳男（20歲）、陳女（22歲）落網後坦承犯行，表示只是想嚇嚇對方，沒有傷害意圖。被害屋主表示年輕人不懂事，願意原諒，法官依刑法59條減輕其刑。
